The origin
It started with seeing the world differently.
Travel has always been part of who I am. It has been a lifelong passion, shaped by my upbringing and by the experience of seeing how differently people live around the world.
It opened my eyes to the extraordinary diversity, beauty, resilience, and generosity that exists everywhere. But over time, that same journey made something else impossible to ignore.
The gap between abundance and need is staggering.
Many of us live surrounded by comforts and possessions we rarely stop to question. At the same time, people around the world — and often people much closer to home — go without things the rest of us take for granted.
And then there is the other side of that equation: how much we throw away. Clothing that is barely worn. Electronics that still work. Furniture that no longer fits our space. Household goods we simply don't need anymore.
Things that have lost their place in our lives haven't necessarily lost their value.
That contrast stayed with me from an early age. It moved me. Eventually, it became a call to act.
